  • 21st Mar, 2018 - The eagerly anticipated HKFC Annual Wing Ding Charity Tournament was held on the 2nd December 2017. This event has been held since 1999 and for the last 14 years, it has supported the charity Operation Santa Claus.   • 21st Mar, 2018 - Wing Ding: A Potted History (by Steve Gollop) During the 1990’s a certain 30 something by the name of Yuen Kam Wing (Wing) was working at the Urban Council Squash Centre (now HK Squash Centre) in Cotton Tree Drive.   • 9th Feb, 2018 - HKFC recently hosted the RBSC from Bangkok in a great friendly event. Teams from both sides enjoyed a fantastic night of squash with the HKFC team managing to win 9-5.   • 9th Feb, 2018 - The fourth annual Captains vs Chairman's Challenge Cup took place in December. This is an event where the men’s and ladies’ Captains Julian Tanner and Emma Duncombe take on Dave Cross’ Chairman’s team.   • 20th Dec, 2017 -   In November the Squash Section had their annual golf match with the Tennis Society on the North course at Kai Sai Chau. Now in its 5th year the squash team remained unbeaten after two wins and two very tight draws in the last four outings so the tennis section were keen to get revenge and finally get their name engraved on the trophy.   • 20th Dec, 2017 - Again this year the HKFC hosted the qualifying rounds of the HK squash open. Some of the world’s greatest squash players battled it out over two days to secure 8 berths each for the men’s and ladies main draw.   With record crowds down on the 1st day of qualifying the courts around the club had an electrifying atmosphere as the competitors from all over the world played on the all glass courts at the club.…

  • 15th Nov, 2017 -   The HKFC squash section have a division one team for the first time in many years. With some high quality new recruits including world ranked number 22 Max Lee now representing the footy club there is the opportunity to watch some top quality squash on a regular occasion.   • 15th Nov, 2017 -  The Club hosted the 11th International Squash 3’s event concurrently with the PSA 25s in September.  This is a hugely successful event comprising of a series of matches over 3 days between teams of 3 players (hence the name) with a maximum of 4 in a squad.  This is one of the toughest events as teams have to play two and sometimes three matches in one day.  There are Mens, Ladies, and Masters Categories attracting…

We fielded 16 Main league teams and 7 Masters teams, together with the 6 Ladies teams as reported by the Ladies Captain. The juniors from HKFC were up against arch rivals HKCC and DB.   The footy club juniors did us proud with all players having excellent games and gaining points for the team.
