This six-week series, running for three weeks each side of Christmas features THREE grades that will allow players of all levels to pair up and compete in two matches each round. Matches will be played Best of Three, PAR, first to 11.

GRADES
Grading will be allocated based on the combined SportyHQ scores of the pair

NOTE:
• Each team must have one 'original' team member minimum for each round through the course of the series. The total SHQ ranking of the team is not permitted, sub's are permitted.
• Eyewear is required on court at all times.

1. The tournament will be governed by the WORLD SQUASH DOUBLES RULES which can be found at http://www.worldsquash.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/150101_Doubles-Rules-Final.pdf
2. Teams will be graded according to the player’s combined SportyHQ scores as at or as close to registration time as November 22, 2019
a. OPEN: 3,000 to 3,500
b. A GRADE Up to 3,000
c. B GRADE Up to 2,000
3. For the 19/20 Series, a maximum of 11 teams per grade will be accepted
4. Through the course of the series, teams may substitute a maximum of one player per Saturday, and the SHQ ranking cannot be raised as a result of a substitute, otherwise sub's are permitted.
5. The combined SportyHQ score of the team may not be increased by more than 10 as a result of a substitution.
6. Teams must wear tops of similar colour and shade and where competing teams’ shirts clash, the lower seeded team will be required to change
7. Players are required to wear WSF certified eyewear at all times while on court. The list of approved eyewear can be found here http://www.worldsquash.org/certified-eyewear/
8. The match schedule for each round will be advised at least 2 days prior to commencement. It is the players responsibility to take the court on a timely manner and walkovers will be strictly enforced should a team be unable to take the court within 5 minutes of the scheduled time for their match
9. Teams will be required to mark and referee the match following their own
10. The series will be run as a round robin draw with 1 point allocated for each win. The ladder after each round, will be determined by total points, accumulated games and accumulated points.
11. Should a team withdraw from the series, after having played one or more matches, all matches against that team will be scored as a walkover.
12. After pool rounds, there will be one round of finals to determine finishing order with 1 v 2, 3 v 4 etc playing off.
13. Should there be a ladder tie at the end of pool matches, that would affect the finals pairings, the team that won the relevant match-up in pool rounds will go through.
14. All disputes will be determined by the sole discretion of the tournament director
