Line-ups should first of all be from core players for the team.

Next select from spares for that division within the club and if necessary from other clubs.

Players on the roster of a team at the beginning of the season may spare for any team within the division or for a higher division team.

Spares are not to play for a lower division with the exception of division 4; when other options are exhausted, a division 3 player may be used with the consent of the opposing captain.
