Club Champs information:
Event dates: 24 January to 14 March 2026. (Play starts from 08:00 on Saturdays and 09:00 on Sundays)
Cost: 1 event is R400, 2 or 3 three events are R450.
Entry closes: Saturday 17 January 2026.
Entry events: Singles (Ladies and Mens), Doubles (Ladies and Mens), Mix Doubles.
Entries and payment via SportyHQ only.
Draws will be available on SportyHQ and each week a shedule of play will be posted on the EP Full members Whatsapp group.
Only 1 weekend per team will be allowed for unavailability, or you will run the risk of forfeiting matches or not being allowed to enter. (Note that doubles availability is determined per couple, not per individual. Confirm with your partner.)
Players will play on the court assigned for them as per the released schedule.
All draws will use the non-elimination format, where the winners and losers of all matches will continue playing until all positions are determined.
No Shortened matches or auto walkovers. All matches to be played.
Each match consists of 2 tiebreak sets, and a deciding super-tiebreak-only third set if required.3 tie break sets will be played from the semi-finals onward.
Each match will be provided with 2 new balls with the option of buying a third ball.
In any dispute the committee will decide on the final outcome.
You have to be available for the last 2 weekends if you are in the main draw semi-finals or finals.
Sunday matches are not compulsory but participation is encouraged.
