The Orkney Open will be played at the Pickaquoy Centre in Kirkwall as normal. This year we are hoping to host senior and junior graded events. Entries for the senior event will be £20 and for juniors it will be £10. This event will be played on the Friday night from 4pm until around 4pm on the Sunday night to try and ensure that people are able to make the last boat back to Gills Bay/Scrabster. The draw will be determined on numbers but this year we are going to look into trying to put players into divisions based on standards.

We would also like to advice to book travel/accommodation as soon as possible due to it being tourism season and the folk festival weekend in Orkney so things could get booked up quickly.
