ABOUT THE GRADES:
This year we are running A, B and C Grades for the Mixed event, and Ladies A and B Grades. This is in a bid to try and encourage more entrants into the open categories while still making sure players get lots of matches and equal competition! Both events will all start out as the ''A Grade'' with Mixed first round losers moving straight into the C Draw. Ladies first round losers to the B draw. These then play out separately.
Then in the Mixed A/B category, the loser of this next round then moves into the B Grade, with the remainder finishing up the A!
The Grade levels should roughly be:
A Grade - Top county team, UK Racketball Series event A Grade regulars, top U19 juniors
B Grade - Lower county team, UK Racketball Series event B Grade regulars, newly converted Squash players, U19 and under juniors
C Grade - UK Racketball Series event B Grade occasionals, club players, newly converted club level Squash players, U15 and under juniors.

Player Behavior On and Off Court:
We at UK Racketball will not tolerate any of the below actions during a UK Racketball run event:
- verbal or physical abuse of markers by players and by spectators. We appreciate that sometimes the marker does not always get it right, but all players are expected to abide by the referees decision. You are more than welcome to question why they have made the decision to better avoid the situation next time, but we will not allow aggression or abuse in this context.
- verbal or physical abuse of players by players and spectators. This includes making as much of an attempt as possible to play or move to the ball without ''running through'' or creating heavy contact with your opponent. Similarly both players must make as much of an effort as possible to give their opponent a clear line to the ball as much as possible to encourge free flowing and clean matches.
The UK Racketball Series is founded on the ethos of fun and welcoming match play with a wide age ranging and welcoming community spirit. If players are unable to abide by this ethos and are deemed to be detrimenting the event, their participation in future Series events will be considered.
