I feel we should be notified of venues at least a week before the time for people traveling and seeking accommodation. Starting times should be adjusted during Winter to allow players sufficient warm up time. We were at the courts in Kuils River at 7 as my son's match was starting at 8. It only started getting light at 7.20 and officials only pitched at 7.45. Players were still called for matches at 8! On the Saturday after singles we were waiting for our boys' doubles to commence as some had started. When inquiring we were told 1 of the opponents had withdrawn so our boys had a walkover! No attempt was given to communicate this with us! As we had traveled from far to take part, I feel there should be more efficient and prompt communication from officials/organizer.
We were also not allowed to use the clubhouse as another meeting had been booked there. Overall bad organization.
